I try to sleep on my side just to start getting used to it but I wake up on my back every single day
They say it’s safe until atleast 20 weeks so I’m not worried but I’m definitely going to need to start looking for a pregnancy pillow so I can wedge myself in bed on my side lol.

I do what's comfortable the whole pregnancy. At one point or another it's about getting the sleep as comfortably as I can no matter how I am laying.

For the stomach sleeper perspective: it’s safe as long as you’re comfortable. Eventually the bump will make it uncomfortable. But I’m 17w today and still happily sleeping on my stomach. Though I am finally starting to feel the bump. lol
I have a pillow that’s a U shape that helps me a lot because it gives me the feeling of sleeping on my stomach without fully laying on it. That’s what got me through my first two pregnancies!

my OB told me not to worry about it, yes towards the end there's the fact that the weight of the baby presses on the artery but my OB explained how one would be too uncomfortable before anything happens and we'll simply move.

My doctor said 20 weeks and even then she said that really you will KNOW when you need to stop sleeping on your back because it will get hard for you to breathe. If you’re having trouble breathing then move. Otherwise she said keep sleeping while I can ♀️
