Make sure you bring a sleeping bag, toothbrush and some clothes to sleep in. To keep luggage to a minimum, we recommend arriving in the clothes you’ll sleep in.

For health and safety reasons you must wear shoes at all times inside the Museum, apart from when you’re sleeping. The clothes you’ll sleep in need to be suitable and warm enough to stand outside in during an emergency evacuation.

We recommend you also bring a water bottle, pillow, torch and an eye mask to sleep in, as some lights will remain on throughout the night.

We’ll provide you with thin, foam sleeping mats, but feel free to bring your own if you’d prefer. For health and safety reasons, inflatable mats or mattresses more than five centimetres thick are not allowed. If you need to bring a specific sleeping mat for medical reasons, let us know when you book so we can make sure it meets our health and safety requirements.

We recommend you don’t bring any items of financial or sentimental value, as we can’t take any responsibility if these get lost, stolen or damaged.

You won’t be able to plug in any electrical items during the event, so we recommend you bring a portable charger with you.

Do I need to bring food?

A three-course dinner and cooked breakfast are included in your ticket, so you don’t need to bring food with you unless you want to. Water, tea and coffee will be served with dinner and other drinks and bar snacks will be available to buy until 00.45.

We’ll email you before the event with the menu options and to check if you have any dietary requirements.
