Hey everyone! 👋 I've been working on developing a social media platform using React🔧 Tech Stack:This platform is built using React.js for its front end, providing a dynamic and responsive user interface. For backend services, it relies on Appwrite, a Backend-as-a-service solution that streamlines development by offering authentication, database management, file storage, and more. React Query is integrated for efficient data fetching, ensuring a smooth user experience. TypeScript is used for type safety, Shadcn for styling, and Tailwind CSS for a polished look.💡 Key Features:It has a seamless explore page, like and save functionality, detailed post pages, and customizable profiles. It also has features like browsing other users' profiles and posts, creating and editing posts, and a responsive UI with a convenient bottom bar. 🚀 Exciting Research Update! 📣📚 Six months into my journey as a Research Assistant, I’m excited to share the progress we’ve made on our latest project!We’ve been working tirelessly on a fascinating project, diving deep into the world of multiplex knowledge graphs and their application in understanding geopolitical events. Our research paper, “Understanding The Ukraine-Russia Conflict: A Multiplex Graph Neural Network Approach” offers a unique perspective on this significant geopolitical event.🌐 Our work leverages the Integrated Crisis Early Warning System (ICEWS) dataset, a comprehensive event database that captures global political events and their actors. We’ve used this data to construct a multiplex knowledge graph, applying graph neural networks to learn node representations that incorporate soft meta-paths across multiple relation paths. 📈 Our findings reveal fascinating insights, from the clustering of entities in the graph to the relational attention between Ukraine and Russia, highlighting how these countries have attempted to gain international backing and economic support.📊 We submitted our paper to the WebSci24 Conference. Unfortunately, it was not accepted this time. However, we see this as an opportunity to refine our model to achieve even more robust results.
